Ingredients

  

Chicken Burger

  • 4 pc Chicken Patty (50 gm each)
  • 2 pc Burger Bun
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tsp Sunflower Oil

Sauce

  • 40 gm Mayonnaise
  • 40 gm Tomato Ketchup

Vegetables

  • 30 gm Lettuce
  • 1 pc Tomato
  • 1 pc Onion
  • 20 gm Gherkins

French Fries

  • 300 gm French Fries
  • 40 gm Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp Salt - optional

Instructions

 

Chicken Burger

  • Heat 2 tsp of sunflower oil in a medium-sized pan on medium heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, cook the chicken patty for about 3-4 mins on each side.
  • Peel the onions and slice them similarly slice the tomatoes.
  • Cut the burger buns from the middle and place it in the hot oven for about 2 – 3 minutes until warm. Or use the pan to heat the bun.
  • Spread tomato ketchup and mayonnaise on the warm burger bun on both sides.
  • Assemble the burger bun by placing the iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced onion, gherkins, cooked chicken patty and cheddar cheese slice.
  • Serve hot with fries.

French Fries

  • Take a deep saucepan and add 500ml of vegetable oil.
  • Heat the oil till you can see a small bubble on the side.
  • Put the French fries into the pan; make sure you fry them in batches so they don’t stick together.
  • Fry them for about 5 - 6 minutes or until they are light golden in colour.
  • Remove the fries and keep it on the tissue paper to drain the excess oil. Sprinkle Salt
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup along with the burger.
